neoCortez Software (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the neoVolt mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. The App operates entirely on your device and communicates exclusively with your compatible battery pack via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.
Specifically:
- No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted.
- No analytics or tracking tools are used.
- No cookies or identifiers are created.
- No account creation is required.
- No usage data is collected.
Bluetooth Data
The App communicates with your battery pack over Bluetooth Low Energy to read battery status, port information, and device settings. This data is processed locally on your iPhone in real time and is never stored persistently or transmitted anywhere. When you close the App or disconnect from the device, this data is discarded.
How We Use Information
Since we do not collect any information, there is no data to use. All device readings (voltage, current, temperature, battery level) are displayed in real time and exist only in your device’s memory while the App is active.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud services. There are no external network requests made by the App.
Data Retention
No user data is retained because no user data is collected. Battery and device readings are transient, existing only in memory during an active BLE connection.
Data Security
While we do not collect or store data, all communication between the App and your battery pack occurs directly over Bluetooth Low Energy. No data passes through external servers or cloud services.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent collection from minors. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, disclosed, or sold. Since neoVolt collects no personal information whatsoever, there is no data to disclose, delete, or opt out of. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
International Users
The App is available internationally. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there are no cross-border data transfer concerns. The App complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations by virtue of collecting no personal data.
