frequently asked questions
What devices does neoVolt support?
neoVolt works with compatible portable battery packs (BP4SL3 family hardware) over Bluetooth Low Energy. The app requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
Why can’t I find my device during scanning?
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled in your iPhone settings, your battery pack is powered on, and you are within Bluetooth range (typically within 10 meters). If the device was recently connected to another phone, it may need a moment to become discoverable again.
Why can’t I control the USB-C port?
USB-C output control is managed by the battery hardware and is not available for external control over BLE. The app displays USB-C port status (voltage, current, temperature, mode) as read-only information.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. All communication happens directly between your iPhone and the battery over Bluetooth Low Energy. No data ever leaves your device, and no analytics or tracking of any kind is used. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I update the device firmware?
Firmware updates should be performed using the hardware manufacturer's official tools. neoVolt intentionally does not include OTA firmware update functionality to avoid any risk of bricking your device with a third-party update process.
